Month of Gratitude Day 30

“One of the oldest and most generous tricks that the universe plays on human beings is to bury STRANGE JEWELS within us all, and then stand back to see if WE CAN EVER FIND THEM.” –Elizabeth Gilbert

As I come to the end of the month I feel like there is a never ending list of things to say I am grateful for. I have found the more I feel gratitude, the more I am aware of what there is to be grateful for. Today I am grateful for all of the possibilities and the multitude of blessings always available to me. The more I have focused on being the light and love and being thankful for what is around me and all of the guidance available to me, the world has opened up more and more. I have become more accepting and compassionate with myself and others and that has been a big step for me. It is true that where you put your attention expands. Every day I am guided through synchronicities and messages helping to guide me on my path. These messages were probably always there but because I wasn’t looking for them, I didn’t see them.

I am thankful that I am learning to be more vulnerable and to take emotional risks. I am learning to simplify my life and to create from a place of love and trust. I am learning that being a good parent does not mean being a perfect parent and mostly it just means holding a space of love for whatever our children are experiencing at any given time. I am learning that there are wonderful messages in books and on Facebook but that they are empty unless we truly go within and learn to love and accept ourselves and see that we are worthy of the peace, joy, and prosperity others are teaching about. I have learned that I have a very sad, grieving, and angry little girl in me and I am creating a space of healing and love for that part of me now. This and more have I learned through much self-exploration and healing. Today I am also grateful for my personal growth both this month and in this lifetime.

Much Love,

Peace Goddess
