Month of Gratitude Day 28
“And I said to my body. Softly.
‘I want to be your friend.’
It took a long breath. And replied,
‘I have been waiting my whole
Life for this.’
– Nayyirah Waheed
Today I am grateful for my body. When listening to Sonia Choquette speak on Hay House Radio the other day she mentioned that your body was like your home. I know that I have taken my body for granted in the past. I have also said some pretty unloving words to it, especially when I have felt sick or it didn’t work or look the way I thought it should, according to my expectations.
Now I see that this only perpetuated any problems I was having with my body. Any illness or change in my body I was experiencing was expanded through these thoughts. If my body is my home, I certainly hadn’t taken care of it. However, this can also work the other way around. By now choosing to send my body messages of empowerment and love, I create more of this vibration in my body. This, in turn, creates more vibrant health and vitality.
I have some housekeeping and redecorating to do in order to create a body that is in alignment with these new truth but I am confident with persistence and “blissipline,” I can achieve this goal.
Much Love,
Peace Goddess
