Month of Gratitude Day 31

“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are” –Brene Brown

Today is the last day of blogging my daily gratitude practice, it has been illuminating and expanding for me and it is something I will most likely carry on daily for the rest of my life. One of the main lessons I have learned from this process is how to look at myself and my life in a more compassionate way. Therefore, what I am grateful for today is self-love.

Through much learning, experience, meditation and introspection as well as the gratitude process I believe self-compassion and self-love is the key to my healing. Through the process of self-love and compassion I can face all of life’s circumstances with a more peaceful outlook. It requires a surrendering and acceptance to what is. This is a moment-to-moment process. I am constantly learning how to love myself and my life more.

For this reason, I have decided to continue daily blogging through February. Because Valentine’s Day is in February, I would like to focus on love. However, I want to  on the idea of self-love and delve into what that means both for me and my relationship to others and the world. I hope to expand and learn to love myself and my life more through this process.

Much Love,

Peace Goddess
